The place and its history
Osinovka’s history combines right-bank development, railways and the relocation of Zayarsk residents from the flood zone. The local name Zayarsky preserves that connection.
Osinovka and Sukhoi were united under a settlement council in December 1960. Osinovka’s incorporation into the city boundary in 1999 was a later administrative step; its place in Greater Bratsk’s history began much earlier.
