The place and its history
Stenikha appears in the list of Bratsk’s twelve residential areas. Local publications often discuss it alongside Novaya Stenikha, making the two names easy to confuse.
Here they are separated: Stenikha belongs to the main list, while Novaya Stenikha has an additional entry about territory incorporated later. Administrative grouping does not replace each settlement’s history.
