The place and its history
The settlement appeared in 1961 to serve the Bratskoye More railway siding. In 1973 it was listed among the settlements of the new Padun District.
Later development became linked with Yuzhny Padun. This historical entry distinguishes the reservoir, former settlement and railway landmark: one name can mean three different things in recollections.
